to-do.

last night amanda and cory came over for a while. we had a good time :) i didn't do much all day yesterday - just finished the book i had been reading and did some laundry. but then after we put aidan to be, they came over. of course aidan wanted to know what the noise was about so she came out at like 10 or so and played for 15mins then walked her lil butt back to bed and went to sleep. lol

EJ's dad and his wife are coming in town this wkend and so we are making sure everything looks nice before they get here. things on my to-do list so far:

*new allergen reducing house filters.
*EJ has to mow and do the yard.
*clean the garage up a bit.
*steam clean the carpets - bc we are obsessed lol.
*make sure 100% of the laundry in the house is done and hung up/put away.
*re-arrange the dining room.
*pick up the kids' bathroom a bit.
*put all important papers in their spots.
*overall cleaning of the house.

:) today on this list i am doing the normal cleaning stuff that i do everyday, but also doing ALL the girls' laundry and putting it away. I think ill end up finishing all of ours too. ill have more to do by the end of the wk but i figure i can get most of it done now. oh, and im gonna pay some bills today too. ok good day to you :)

nothing much.

not much went on yesterday. EJ went with matt around town on their motorcycles and then EJ watched sawyer and aidan and i went up to the mall for the babygap casting call. :)

aidan is such a big girl now. i dont need a stroller or anything with her at the mall. she just holds my hand and walks with me. sigh. its especially funny when we go into stores bc she'll point to clothes that she likes lol

of course sawyer just slept the whole time we were gone - so it was easy breezy for EJ.

today nothing much is happening. aidan is taking a nap right now and sawyer is sleeping, too but prob gonna want to eat in the next 15mins or so. after that - im hoping for a nap for myself. i am tired for no good reason at all.

tonight i think amanda and cory are going to come over for a bit. that will be fun :) aidan loves when friends come over to play with her.

shopping and hockey game.

yesterday our lil family went to the mall, ate lunch, bought some new clothes at banana and went home for naptime. then last night we went to the dallas stars hockey game. thanks to our "who" friends (lol) we had free food, platinum level seats, and a great time :) after the game - ej, me, david and shavonne (i hope i spelled that right lol) went to sherlock's for a few drinks. here are a few pics. go stars go.

today's plans.

i think today i am going to pack up the terrible two-some and head to target and lunch :) aidan loooves sharing chipotle with me so we'll prob go there. i hope we can get all this done before aidan has to nap. what a crab she is if she doesn't get her nappers in.

tomo night we are going to the stars game. i love sitting in suites. lol we have parking so we'll just have to get there by the time the game starts, then get free dinner, then watch the game. woot. then we are gonna go out with david, his gf, david's sister, and her fiance. :) it should be a good ol time in downtown dallas.

i wish it wasn't so hot and we could go to the park. sigh. aidan would be fine, but its still hot out to just sit there with sawyer. soon though we'll be able to go a lot :)

ok shower time, play time, lunch time, shop time, nap time, play time, EJ time - that is our day.

well i guess ill update on the day. aidan seemed to have hit the railing in her crib bc she has a bruise on her eye. sigh. sometimes i think she is too tough for her own good. i imagine she was spinning around in there like she usually does. it doesn't look that bad, but here are pics anyways -

last night and photoshoot today.

last night david, andrew, and nikki came over for dinner and to watch the cowboys game :) it was fun - aidan has so much fun playing with them and its great that sawyer gets so much interaction with my friends and family.

today we have just been hanging out. it got a bit hotter today than it was all last week but we'll be going for a walk when aidan wakes up from her nap. but here are some pics that I took of sawyer this afternoon before we did tummy time :)

wkend update.

we had a lot of fun last night :) matt, veronika, and kam came over for a while! we hung out, ate dinner, drank wine, and just had an overall good time! today EJ went with matt to look at motorcycles for matt. i just hung out here at the house, the babies napped, and that was that. lol we steam cleaned this evening and just cleaned the house up a bit. tomo andy and nikki are coming over so that should be fun - like always :) i'll take some pics and post them tomo.

on the "sawyer sleeping" front: she is going to sleep on her own now almost every night. its so nice. i am very lucky to have such great kids. sigh.

so i went to the back of aidan's closet and found some of the clothes that we had gotten a long time ago that didn't fit her yet. i found this black and white dress and showed it to her. she said "wow", put it up to her, and then wanted to put it on :) after she put the dress on she got up and made me slow dance with her like we do at the end of "enchanted" at the ball lol so anyways, its still a bit big for her (i think its a 2T) but here are some pics. i love having a girly girl.

sigh. the allergies are killing us. EJ can barely sleep at night bc they are so bad. and this is of course after spending hundreds of freaking dollars on air purifiers for the house. now, they do work. the house feels so much better, but no - they didn't solve the problem.

today has been pretty lazy. I cleaned the kitchen and the bedroom and started some more laundry. ya know i can't believe if i dont do laundry one day how much it piles up. luckily i have time in the afternoon to do it everyday where aidan isn't taking the clothes out of the clean pile while im folding them. she always seems to want to put them on. lol.

aidan has been a riot lately. she's a funny kid in general, but now that she knows basically every animal noise or face that we do for the animal - anywhere is game for an outburst of sounds lol going outside is now something we do a million times a day. we go for walks everyday, too. we actually have to spell "outside" bc she will run for the door when we say it if we aren't ready yet :) sawyer slept for 5 hr stretches last night. what a dream. this is getting easier by the day!

ok. that is all. i think ill clean some more and plan dinner :)

today we woke up and got ready then went to my mom's office for a visit. then went to lunch. since we have been home - aidan has been napping and so that is nice. sawyer is 7wks tomo and she has been doing much better at night. usually i get 4 hrs between ie: last night was 1030, 230, and 630 for the feedings. that is a-ok by me. this wkend was an hour earlier for the feedings :) i have no problem with this schedule... hopefully soon ill be stretching it out to 5-6hrs between. but im not too worried. ok here are some funny out-takes of pics from today.
