ahhhhh cruise 2009

pretty much amazing. you can see more photos on facebook - but i will upload a few here :)

saturday - went to galveston, hung out with EJ's aunt barb and her friends, and had a blast. but here's a pic of sawyer before we left :)


sunday - got on the boat about noon? i think? went to our room and then walked around for a while on the boat - ended up at "scoreboard" - our fave sports bar for the week and met our fave bartender, Olde, from costa rica!

monday - cruise day ahhhh (pic from our room) basically all we did was 1. play bingo and 2. lay out and play around the boat

tuesdsay - cozymel. this was a lot of fun. we walked around and went shopping - little local stores, their outdoor mall, etc. we even ended up at their "walmart"-type store. i have no idea why, but it was pretty interesting lol we ate lunch at margaritaville - it was delicious.

wednesday - honduras (my fave place ever). we got off the boat early and took a cab to the "west bay" beach. once we got there, we realized we had to go to an ATM and the one on the beach was broken. we took a water taxi to another beach and i waited at a shop for EJ to go to the ATM close by - that one was out of money too. he ended up walking 20 mins or so to another ATM (all while i assumed he was dead or something lol oops). after that, we went back to west bay and drank, snorkled and overall just had a great time.

thursday - costa maya. well we woke up early to get on the bus to go to the mayan ruins. it was a good time, the weather was nice, but our guide was extremely long-winded (yawn). after that, EJ and i went to the shops, went back to the boat to get cash, came BACK to land, hung out by the swim up bar/restaurant and ate lunch - then went back to the boat for good. we did a lot of fun shopping here :) i got some earrings, a new ring, and we found good stuff for the girls.

friday - cruise day. today we had a spa day - we did the "couples ritual" - which included an hour in the steam room with all the goop we wanted (lol) and then an hr massage. it was fab. the rest of the day was spent at scoreboard, bingo, etc ... dont judge. :)

we went out that night with people from our dinner table. it was so fun. EJ went to bed and i went with andrea (tablemate) to the "club" on the boat (lmao omg it was so funny). thats not really my style, but it was fun anyway.
