night 1.

so im actually impressed with this shithole travelodge lmao. our room is freakin huge and even though it was the only hotel in waco with rooms IN JUNE that weren't $500 for the wkend basically (bc, well, this is not somewhere where i feel like spending that much) - im pleasantly surprised. aidan was absolutely fabulous on the drive down here. we stopped in italy at the gas station, walked around, filled up my tank, and headed on our way to waco. when we got here we first went to campus bc it wasn't time to check in yet. we walked around for a while, saw the bear habitat! woot!, met up with EJ who drove down in his truck (bc he is skydiving this wkend and so he needed his own car), and then ate lunch on campus :)

after that we came to the hotel where i put on a movie, tossed aidan in her crib, and she laid down for a while. sleep? or no, certainly not. but laid down. lol we got ready and headed to treffs to say hi to friends real quick bc there was of course no one there at 5pm lol took a few pics of aidan and EJ in the place where we spent all of our days only 2 1/2 years ago - and then went to ninfa's.






david and aidan were best friends tonight for some reason lol and aidan walked around with him most of the time. his friends were there so of course they just melted when they met aidan, so david used her as a wingman lmao we went to dinner with jenn, david, me, ej, aidan, catherine, thad, susan, her little boy hayden, and catherine's friends curtis and his wife. it was a good time, but afterwards, i opted out of the bonfire lol aidan fell asleep in the car and we'd be JUST NOW getting ready to go (it starts at 9pm). aidan is in her crib singing to herself right now. all the lights are off so im hoping she goes to sleep soon :)









tomo morning is the parade :) YAY!!! and tomo ill update how tonight went for the first time in a hotel. sigh.

oh and her favorite thing in the hotel. geesh.

homecoming wkend.

no srsly. I cannot wait. let me post the run down for ya ;) mainly this is for those who are going to hc2k8 and that way youll know the plans.

friday - get there, aidan lays down for a bit, settle into the hotel, ninfa's for dinner, go back to the hotel and get dressed, pep rally/bonfire.

saturday - parade at 8am, lunch, EJ is going down to saledo to get his (overdue) B and C licenses for skydiving :), game at 2pm (thank heavens for good tix and media parking), nap time, and dinner at probably crickets so we can see friends :)

sunday - who knows. I want to meet up with a lot of people this wkend and if i dont see them by sunday, then sunday will be the day to catch up :) EJ is going to take his own car and he'll be down in saledo again this day to take his paper tests for skydiving.

then we come home for more catherine/amanda/aidan/sawyer/thad fun :)

cleaning.

today is basically a cleaning day before catherine comes in town tomo :) yes, catherine - you should feel special. so let me make a check list for the day so I can get it all done. thxblahg.

-dishes - done.
-clean kitchen - done.
-make sure everything is picked up in the living room - will be done at bedtime when no one is playing anymore - done.
-wipe down all the bathrooms - done.
-clean mirrors - done.
-finish laundry - done.
-hang up all the kids clothes - done.
-get out the 3-6 month clothes for sawyer. - done.
-put away 0-3 month clothes. - done
-start dinner - meat defrosting now. - done. it was yum.


EJ is going to vacuum and steam clean :) yes, we are addicted to steam cleaning. lol - done.

ok bedroom done :) what a fun wkend! today EJ went skydiving for a while and i painted a little bit. then nikki came over, EJ got home and bbq'ed, and then he painted the rest while we played with aidan and put her to bed. I really like the color! now we just have 1 more area to paint and we'll be happy for now.

so yesterday after nap we went to hobby lobby (you will learn why in time lol) to pick up some things and then we headed to lowe's. I made a comment about wanting to paint our bathroom and so we got some paint! lol we had the master br paint already in the garage when we bought the paint for aidan's room so we started both projects around 7pm last night. taping off was the damn worst and took the longest. after last night we finished the bathroom and we are still working on the master br today. sigh. here is what we have so far. our br is a wreck, but we will have it 100% painted and set up. ok here are some pics - everything isn't DONE done, but its okay for now. we'll have everything 100% cleaned, touched up and in order by tuesday night since catherine gets here wednesday.

EJ left last night to go to best buy bc he wanted to get me this network hard drive thing so everything from all of our computers are on this 1 drive and it can be remotely accessed from anywhere :) I am sure there is more to it, but for now that is the only way to explain it.

well he called me from the store and asked about the nano i wanted, but in the end i decided to get the 120g classic. a lot more space, bigger screen, sleek, and much more my style :) he is just full of surprises lately!

ok well this wkend we are cleaning, organizing, etc bc i want everything done before next week when catherine gets here :)

yawn, well i think today i'll try to go somewhere with just aidan. shrug. who knows.

yep, we went. yep, it was awesome. lol i went and picked up amanda at like 5pm, we went and got some drinks and ate dinner, and then headed to the AAC. we hung out on the balcony for a while and then finally sat down in our seats to watch natasha bedingfield. aaaand she was great. i really like her - id probably go to one of her concerts. anyway, then nkotb was on :) oh man they were great. they played a lot of old songs and then some of their new stuff, which really is not bad. a lot of people dressed up like they were from the 80's. which really made me twitch lol but they were having a lot of fun.

oh. and i lost my phone. whoops. i have zero idea what happened to it, but my new one should be here by wednesday i think. blah. there went my contacts and my pictures on my phone. boo.

lazy saturday.

so today wasn't much of a big deal. we woke up, ate some breakfast, played outside most of the morning, then aidan/sawyer took naps. i went and got my haircut at a new place (it looks great, but damn - he took SO LONG) and then I got home and EJ left for the mavs game w/ logan :) ashley is going to come over and hang out with us tonight. so that will be fun. like i said - lazy day, but hey, its nice to have those once in a while :)

what a day.

so this morning I took sawyer in to get her prevnar shot at 10am. no biggie. aidan was good, but got very upset when the nurse had sawyer lol she is an over-protective big sis :) while we were at the dr. EJ was going to go to some place to get new plates for his car. sigh. he is officially a texan. yeah - he should have had them years ago, but never did it. la dee da.

then EJ went down to meet up with david and pick up my NKOTB/natasha B. tix. well, he took his bike down there, somehow the battery died (lol) and he had to take david's car to get a jumper thing or whatever. no biggie. well then david calls me and tells me that he is stuck in the elevator at the AAC lol so then when EJ came back, david was still stuck, had to wait for him to get out, then it was rush hour so EJ went to david's to wait it out - and he is still not home lol oh man. long day for them.

last night sawyer slept from 10pm til 430am, then 5am til 930am. WHOA! works for me! :) I haven't had many pics of sawyer lately so here ya go - some funny ones of her in a set of halloween pj's :) enjoy!
